ok its me again but im going to be posting here instead on 'like a virgin'...

I think Judie remembers me XP

Anyway.. yesterday i noticed i spotted some of the same brownish looking blood on my underwear... i really havent noticed anything since then but i do know my periods, for some reason, dont work in the evenings so im gonna look for it today. either way, should i be real worried about this?

Also i read that alot of ECP, or ECP in general, and make your breasts sensitive... how long does the sensitivity last? or what is the longest time before i should get worried?

thanks

Hi

ok i just relized that my first message dont make much sence. This is what orginally happened (i posted this somewhere else sometime about a week or so ago.)

OK i got a prob.

gonna take this one step at a time.

my last period ended on like the 6th of may ok?

now on the 7th me and my bf did it and the condom broke but we caught it intime so he pulled out before he came... i went to Planned Parenthood on saturday and got 2 pairs of EC Pills. I took the first set that day.

monday we did it again, this time the condom broke again but we didnt notice and he came inside me. i took the pills that same day on monday. that was the 10th.

now yesterday was the 17th and everything is all good right? well no because i started my period again sorta... but some of the blood is all brown and some is red. my friend sugested that my period still had some work to be done and it waited a while but i wonder if its from me taking the pills close together?

and today i noticed im kinda bleeding again and i wanna know whats going on again.... and i wanna know about my breasts and why they are still sensitive...

Thankyou

The bleeding and tenderness could be a result of the EC, or it could be pregnancy. I'm a little confused by your dates, since you say that yesterday was the 17th but it was actually the 27th.

I would suggest taking a pregnancy test no sooner than 10 days after your broken condom incident. If it comes out negative, take another one 4 days after that. It usually takes 10 days for a pregnancy test to become positive, but sometimes it takes more like 2 weeks. If they both come out negative but you miss your next period, go to your doctor.

I had taken Plan B EC a few years ago and the nurse who gave it to me said that I would probably experience some breakthrough bleeding with it. So yes, your bleeding could be from the EC pills. But in my case, the first bleeding I got was my actual period. So, of course, it is different for everybody.

Hope this helps,

Sarah

Ok well when i posted the first part of my problem it was the 17th but now im experiencing it again..

I think i am having what nurseforkids05 had.

what happened after the EC was probably the breakthrough bleeding because it was sooooo light (unless thats not what breakthrough bleeding is) but this time i actually had some cramps and im bledding a whole lot more.

i dont think you have medium or heavy periods when you're pregs. my friends mom is pregnant and her mom has a book about pregnancy and what to expect etc... it says that if you do have a period on your pregnancy that it will be very light.

so i think im safe though i will take a test anyway :)

is any of the info in this wrong?

Hi chibi2k1,

I think you're probably correct, and what you are experiencing now is your regular period. I also agree that it wouldn't hurt to test just for peace-of-mind. Since you are having problems with condoms, you might want to review some dos and don’ts about using them correctly.

• Don’t store condoms in wallets or cars where they are subject to pressure and heat.

• Don’t use the condoms if the use-by date has expired.

• Do be careful opening the packet not to damage the condom.

• Do squeeze the air out of the tip (before you roll it all the way on to him) to prevent blow-out.

• Do be careful that your nails don’t snag or cut the latex.

• Do use a water base lubricant, such as Astroglide or KY Liquid if you need additional lube.

• Don’t use an oil base lube such as Vaseline as petroleum will weaken the latex very quickly.

• Do have him withdraw while still erect, while holding the condom at the base of his shaft as he withdraws to prevent it slipping off and spilling.

• Don’t get any of his fluids on you hands and then touch your genitals.

Let us know how you're doing, ok?

Good luck
