Fatigue and changing pill time
| Sat, 05-29-2004 - 5:36pm |
I am only on my second day, so maybe this is a coincidence but a couple hours after I've taken each pill I have gotten very tired. Is this a side effect? If it continues, could I move the time I take my pill up if I'm not taking it as birth control? Say from 12 p.m. to 7 or 8 p.m.?
On the bright side I haven't noticed any other side effects and I've stopped bleeding. I'm feeling good! :)

Hi ariane,
If you're taking your pill at noon, then it's probably more related to post-lunch sleepiness (aka puppy dog syndrome = full belly, heavy lids!) and/or what you're eating for lunch.
I just started this pill OTC Lo, and it makes me tired a couple hours after taking it, also. I have always taken my pills at night b/c I don't want to get nauseaus or tired in the afternoon. This is my first month back on the pill after a while off, and I'm hoping this side effect might go away after a few months.
Hope that helps.
