Some women are able to ovulate within a month of stopping hormonal contraception, others take longer. Most doctors say to not start trying in earnest until about 3 months after stopping, because it can take a while for your body to readjust.
Once you stop the patch you might want to consider charting your fertility signs (basal body temperature, cervical mucous, etc) to know what your cycles will be like and when you ovulate so you can plan your attempts at conception accordingly.
