What do I do if my period did not start during my sugar pill week? I am supposed to start the hormone tomorrow, do I do so as normal???!!! Please help with reply asap!

If you have taken your pills properly (within an hour or two either way, using a backup if you take medications that may interfere or if you have vomiting or diarehha) you shouldn't have anything to worry about. It is not uncommon for women to skip a period occasionally. You can take a home pregnancy test in a few days, if it would make you feel better, or you can wait and see if you get your period next month. If you skip a second in a row, then you should definately see a doctor.
But, be calm! It's normal, if a pain in the rump, to skip occasionally!
I agree with the other women who have posted a response, I too did not start my period during the sugar pills the first month and on the second month I started my period during the third week and it ended just as I was getting to the sugar pills. (I also had not missed a pill any day and took them at the same time every morning.) I have been told time and again that it is just your system adjusting to the pills. I have taken two pregnancy tests since (both times right after I didn't get my period for that month on the sugar pills) and both have been negative (whew!) Anyhow, another reason I was told I may not be getting my period is because I am so paranoid that I stress myself out and that could mess things up too. Hang it there and good luck.
