Stopping pack early?

I am going to be going away in a couple of weeks, which also turns out to be the week I will be on my placebo pills, and having my period. I am wondering if I can take only 2 weeks of my pill (monophasic) and let my period come a week early (which now to think of it is likely not safe to do), but let me know anyways! I know I could also just take another pack of pills immediately after, but then I'm concerned about BTB. Well, let me know what you all think and/or have experienced!

You could try stopping your actives after 2 weeks, wait 3-4 days and then begin a new pack. The bleeding might not stop immediately so you should give yourself as much time as you can for your endometrium to stabilize before your trip. You are right, if you stop mid pack I would use back-up until you are at least 7 pills into your next pack. Let us know how you're doing ok? I hope you have a good trip.
Good luck,
Jill
Have you ever had problems with BTB? Have you tried skipping the placebo pills before and had the BRB? Or is it just a worry?
I'm just curious. I've never really had any problems with my period (on or off the pills) or BTB.
