condom problem

Hi everyone! I have a quick question...

My bf and I recently started having sex. I am on Alesse bc pills, but we both agreed a long time ago that we don't want to depend solely on that. We decided to use condoms as well. However, the first time we had sex it was very impromptu and we didn't even have condoms around us. So he just pulled out before he ejaculated.

The next time we were more prepared and he put on the condom, but he couldn't ejaculate. He felt restricted and he couldn't feel enough. (We were both virgins before.) Since, we have gone back to pulling out before ejaculation.

My question is, are there any specific condoms that are thinner, or allow more sensation? The reason we are not extremely worried is because I am on the pill, but I still worry. We are both 19 and at no point to get pregnant! Anyone have any condom solutions?? :)

Thank you in advance!

Hey Alex~

There are ultra thin condoms, but I will warn you that those have been known to break easier than reg. condoms. Hope this helps!

Hi brittle skittles, welcome!

You might want to consider polyurethane condoms such as Avanti or Trojan Supra. They are supposed to transfer heat more readily than latex though with polyurethane there is a slightly higher failure rate. There are plenty of condom sites on the Internet that will give you an idea of what's available. Let us know what you decide, ok?

Good luck,

Hey there- Skimming through a magazine last week I saw an ad for www.condomania.com

they have 55 different sizes of condoms that you can buy at their site! What you do is print out a "fit kit" (or have one sent snail mail to you) and your boyfriend will go through the simple steps to find out what size condom he needs. The packet said that after using one of their condoms, "regular" ones feel like torture.

My guy and I got the fit kit, but havent ordered the condoms yet. Something you've gotta also consider is that they are $12/dozen...but maybe it's worth it!! And I had them send the fit kit in the mail and it came with a special "code word" to knock a dollar off our order... so you may want to give www.condomania.com a shot

Thank you all very much for your advice! I think we will try the polyurethane condoms first and if that doesn't help then we'll get the measuring kit from www.condomania.com. I really appreciate your quick help :)
