The pill makes me nausea everday and if I miss one and have to double up I actually throw up they make me so sick. I also get very emotionally and depressed more often. I have been on 4 different brands of the pill so I know it isn't just this one because I have been on others. They all make me sick. Anyone have any solutions?

Well, how long have you tried each brand before switching? it usually takes a few months (within three usually) for side effects to go away.

as for the nausea, some people find that taking the pill with water and some light food, like crackers, helps minimize the nausea. you might want to try dramamine, too.

as for doubling up, it is more likely to make you sick. if you vomit within two hours of taking your pill that counts as a missed pill, because it didn't have a chance to get absorbed into your bloodstream. this means that if you throw up after doubling up, you've lost 2 pills and need to take 2 more and use backup for the next 7 days of uneventful pill usage.

but, since it seems like your stomach never agrees with the pill you might want to try a non-pill contraceptive, like Nuvaring ("the ring") or Ortho Evra ("the patch"). since these don't interact with your stomach, they shouldn't make you so ill.

also, moodiness and depression or fairly common side effects of the pill, and should go away within about 3 months of starting a new brand.
