Can you feel it when you ovulate?

Because I'm pretty sure I can feel it when I do. I always get this sharp pain on either side of my lower abdomen, right where my ovaries are and whenever I count back on the calendar I'm around day 13-16 when it happens. They say that statistically, you ovulate around day 14 so that sounds right to me.
Just thought that I would ask around and see if anyone else can feel it. I find that it is really sore in that area for the whole day of that month and then I'm good until next month around the same time again. Oh, and I thought I would also add that I've got a history of ovarian cysts so I know that's not what I'm feeling. Cysts are MUCH more painful that this, although its in the same place and the same kind of pain only the cysts are MUCH more intense.

Yes, I can feel it sometimes, not always, when I ovulate. It feels a bit like getting a stitch in my side, but not that pronounced, and I'm usually not sore afterwards.
Happy Sunday to you!
