I started taking Yasmin (the pill) 2 months ago and still haven't recieved my period. If I take a pregnancy test will I get a false Positive? Also, what are the harm to the baby if I am pregnant?

HCG, or human chorionic gonadotropin, is a hormone produced by the placenta during pregnancy that can be detected in the mother's blood or urine even before the woman's missed period. This hormone is what is looked for with a “pregnancy test”. Being on hormonal contraceptives will not interfere with a pregnancy test. There is no meaningful evidence that taking hormonal contraceptives will harm a fetus but a woman should stop taking them as soon as she finds out she is pregnant. Are you ok? Let us know how you’re doing, ok?
