I agree with the first post-just use your first name or a nickname on the internet. There's too much craziness out there...Now,back to your question...I don't know anything about the pill you're on-I've never taken it myself.I have taken a few different bc pills over the years (I'm 33).When I was a teen I had horribly heavy and clotty periods (alot of embarrassing accidents).I wish I had been put on some sort of birth control then. When I was 18 and about to go out into the work world I knew I had to do something about my periods.I went to the ob/gyn and was put on ortho novum 777.It drasticly cut the heaviness of my periods. It was like "heaven" compared to what it was before.Talk to your dr-there are alot of different pills out with different hormone levels (mini pills).I'm sure there is one your dr would find for you-be sure to explain all of your concerns. After my baby I had an IUD put in and I absolutely love it.I have gone from using a double pack of kotex overnights pads (the really big thick long ones) to now where I just use a few pantiliners. It's amazing!!!! I've had it in almost 11 months now and my periods are basicly a few days of spotting. Some IUD's are suggested for women who had had at least one child but I know there are some girls out there who have it who haven't had children.Again,I would talk to your dr.I have the MIRENA IUD and after 1 year in some women it can "turn off" periods. It's good for 5 years but is costly. Good luck in your search.I hope you find something that works for you in your situation.
