Hi,

My boyfriend had a vasectomy a few years ago. His semen is usually clear colored. Sometimes I have noticed that it is thicker and yellowish white in color.

A friend of mine told me she read an article that after a vasectomy semen should be clear colored and that if it is yellowish white in color, that indicates the presence of sperm.

I am trying to find out if this is indeed true. If a man has had a vasectomy, does semen that is yellowish white indicate that sperm is present?

Thank you

i don't know much ab vasectomy's but to be honest my boy's sperm looks whitish all the time, never really a tint of yellow... so i doubt the color means much. i'd ask his doc to make sure.
