I've been on micronor actually the generic brand camilla for about a year now.

I faithfully take it at the same time each day and have never missed one.

I have a 13 month old and am still nursing him 3-4 times a day.

I started my periods back up when he was 10 months old have had them each month since around the 3rd week of the month. This past month I have had no period and no sign of it and its the 12th already.

Is this normal? Could I be pregnant?

Any advice is very appreciated.

thank you for your help

Hi boosclues, welcome!

Have you been taking any medicines recently that might interfere with your pill? The prescribing information for Micronor (I know, you are on camilla but the info. should be about the same) recommends testing if you go longer than 45 days without having a period. It would probably be a good idea to test and also talk with your doctor. Let us know how you're doing, ok?

Hugs,

Thank you Jill for your information. I haven't been taking any medications and can't figure what on earth is going on. I took a preg. test and was neg. My stomach has been acting really funny feeling nauseous and crampy. Its just frustrating not knowing what on earth is going on :)

thanks for your help and ifo I really appreciate it

Sometimes progestin-only pills do actually stop ovulation! ;) And if you don't ovulate and take your pill like you're supposed to (every single day), you shouldn't have periods. Some women won't ovulate when they're taking progestin-only pills like Micronor (and all the generics for it), so they don't have periods at all, some women won't ovulate and will have sporadic bleeding from the lack of estrogen, and some women will ovulate while using Micronor and have regular periods, and you can go from any of these stages to the others when your body decides to (isn't control great? tongue in cheek...).

It might be totally normal! Make sense?
