Anyone switch from Patch to Nuvaring?

The whole reason I'm on the patch is because I can never ever remember to take the pill every day, but I'm fed up with the spotting that I've started getting with the patch. I'm going to give it another month, but if things haven't changed, I'm thinking of switching to Nuvaring. Has anyone gone from the patch to Nuvaring, and if so, how did that go? Why did you switch, and did those problems stop with the ring?

Thanks!

Theoretically, I would think that the ring would help with the spotting because it's lower in estrogen than the patch and the progestin -I think- is stronger, but it's hard to compare them because you have to look at strength+dose.

What have you got to lose, right? ;)

Whatever you decide, good luck!

Thanks! I'm still crossing my fingers that I can continue to use the patch, but it's so GREAT to have so many other options!!

I switched from the patch to the ring and I've never regretted it.

I switched from the patch to the nuvaring and I didn't have any problems at all. I felt alot better with the nuvaring. I decided to switch because I thought the hormone dosage was too high for me and I was miserable. A lot of weight gain, extreme breast and abdomen tenderness and very very moody. I like the nuvaring a lot better. I really haven't had any problems at all and I can't even feel it. I actually lost weight on the nuvaring and feel a lot better.
