I was just wondering I have missed a few pills and I think I might be pregnant. If I stop taking the pills before they are done will I get a period right way?

you might get break through bleeding from stopping the hormones "all of a sudden"....

If you think you may be pregnant, your best option is to MAKE SURE first before stopping your pills! If you aren't pregnant, you may be setting yourself up for an oops by being unprotected. If you stop taking the pill now, as Mrs. Frazier said, you'll likely have bleeding from the hormone withdrawal, but that would not affect any potential pregnancy. You can take a home pregnancy test about two weeks after you started remembering your pills regularly or after the event that has you wondering, or you can wait and see if your period is different this month, which it might be anyway from the missed pills. In the meantime, if you don't want to be pregnant, make sure you use another form of reliable protection until you've taken seven pills in a row on time.

Good luck, I hope everything is all right!
