Ok here is my story and I could just be mis judging my symptoms. I have been on birth control for 7 years now (right after my girl was born) and have had no problems. Here is the information:

last first day of AF: 7/18/04 actually that is when it could start but it always starts late it started on 7/21/04

started antibiotics for UTI: 7/27/04

finished them on: 7/2/04

had unproected sex: pretty much throught out the weeks, but I don't think he ejaculated (spelling?) in me I mean I know he didn't but never know could have.

next menstural scheduled: 8/15/04

Today I started feeling sick about noonish. I feel like I could throw up, having cramping like and back pain, tired. I know it could be PMS but just want to double check. I wouldn't mind if I was pregnant but just wanted to double check.

It's possible, I'm afraid! Antibiotics can (but don't always) interfere with the metabolism of the hormones and you can ovulate. It's recommended to use backup protection while you're taking the antibiotics and an additional seven days after you've finished them to allow your protection to return (some sources recommend 14-28 days of backup).

It is possible to become pregnant from pre-ejaculate, as the fluid he secretes as a lubricant can contain a few or many sperm, this makes withdrawal sketchy as a form of backup--for some women it's effective, for others it's definitely not, as the sperm content varies with the individual.

You can take a pregnancy test if you don't get your period, the timing is about right either way, whether it's two weeks after you finished the antibiotics or a missed period. It may just be a weird bug going around, those aren't uncommon during the summer either!

Good luck, I hope everything works out the way you want it to!
