Hi All,

New here, and just had a quick question. When I left school for the summer to come back home and work, I got 4 months of BC and thought it would be all I needed. Well...I'm let's just say I couldn't count right and feel like an idiot for it...and now I'm one week short on pills. I got up to school next week, but not till like wednesday, but my last active pill was this past Saturday (period this week). I'm not sexually active, so I'm not worried about that part, but I don't want to mess up my period schedule. I'm on Ortho-tricyclen LO and just wondered if anyone had some know-how in these types of situations. Thanks for your help and input.

Hi squeaks719, welcome!

You might try asking your doctor at home. Explain your situation and ask if s/he has a sample pack of OTC-Lo or if s/he will write you an Rx for a pack until you can get back to school. Or if there is a Planned Parenthood clinic in your area, see if they can help. Or, if Student Health is open, call them, explain your problem and see if the doc will phone in an Rx to your local pharmacy. Let us know how you're doing, ok?

Good luck,
