question about tubal ligations

and tubal pregnancies. My girlfriend has had her tubes tied roughly about 2 years now.She was having a horribly heavy period where she was going through a super tampon + a pad in like less than 30 minutes. She called her dr and to make a long story short they wanted her to come in and have some tests run including ultrasounds to see if she might have a tubal pregnancy. The supervisors where she works almost came out and said they thought she was lying because "that wasn't possible"-to have a tubal pregnancy if you had had your tubes tied.(These people are bankers-not doctors)I worked there for a few years before I quit to be a mommy. These ladies are pure WITCHES!!She didn't have a tubal pregnancy and it wasn't a syst or anything-she had the option of using hormone pills to see if that would stop the bleeding or have a DNC.She chose the DNC and had to be out of work for 3 days after per drs orders-it's like at this place they try to punish you if you're out sick-even if it's an honest ailment and not just trying to take a "free day off". She has looked online to find info to back up what her dr said but can't find anything.I'm going to surf around this weekend and see if I can find anything...I thought I would check here to see if anyone knew of a website that might help or if anyone had any info pertaining to this issue. Thanks!!!!

If a pregnancy occurs after a tubal then it is more likely to be ectopic. See:
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/bc/cchoices1.html#STERILIZATION I’m sorry your friend is having a hard time with her co-workers. I hope the D&C worked for her.
Hugs,
Jill
