No method of contraception is 100% effective, except abstinence. However, Depo Provera is very effective, about 99.7% if used correctly. See: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/bc/cchoices2.html#DEPO If you were not pg when you got the injection that there is very little chance that you are now. Let us know how you’re doing, ok?
it is always possible. you couldve been pregneant when you started the shot.
depo it great b/c i loved it no period no cramping no lb gain no babys for two and 1/2 years but then i became pregneant with austin. i would bet you are not pregneant but it is always possible.
i was on the depo for 6 1/2 years and i never used protection when i was on it and i never got preg. on it as long as you get your shot the day you are supposed to you will be fine it is very effective, but it has horrible side effects and that's why i am off it now. for one i always thought i was preg. cause i gained weight in my stomach area and i always felt sick to my stomach and i always threw up i can't even begin to tell you how many preg. test i bought in the past 6 years and they were always neg. since you just got the shot did the dr give you a preg test before he gave the shot to you? you probably don't have anything to worry about. trust me
