Should I worry about this?

I have been on the Pill only 10 days. I was supposed to be a Sunday start, but my period just happened to start on a Sunday so I am a day 1 start. I have been taking the pill every morning at about 6:00 with no more than 20 minutes one way or the other. It is getting to be that time of the month when it is peak time to get pregnant and that is the last thing I want! My boyfriend has come inside of me twice since being on the Pill but it didn't worry me seeing as how it was during or just after my period ended. Now I am afraid to have him come inside of me, but I shouldn't have to worry if I've been so regimental about taking the Pill should I? Keep in mind this is the first time I've gone on the Pill.

From what i understand, the pill is not at its most effective state the first month, especially the first 7 days. So, I would recommend pulling out or even using protection for the first month. You probably don't have anything to worry about, but everyone is different. I know I changed pills about 5 months ago and the first week I was on them I was pretty active and didn't get pregnant. I don't know if this answers your questions, but that's just from my personal experience and what I've been told about bc. Hope everything works out.

This board recommends that back-up be used for the entire first cycle while you are learning to take your pills correctly. Your cycle is under control of the hormones in your pills so it doesn't matter what cycle day you are on, you should not be ovulating when taking your pills correctly. If you have been taking your pills on time, not been sick and thrown up or had diarrhea within 2 hours after taking your pills and aren’t taking meds or supplements that might reduce your pills effectiveness, then you should be fine. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Let us know how you're doing, ok?

Hugs,
