Is there maybe a planned parenthood clinic or some other clinic that you could call to see if they're open and say that you need some emergency contraceptive? (Just to be on the safe side?)

phew, fourtunately i found that my prescription has already been deemed refillable..my gyno had put me on this particular pill as a trial to see if i liked it better, so i didnt know if it would have the "refillable 3 times" thing on it. thank you!

Oh good, I'm so glad that it worked out! Let's hear it for that "# of refills" spot!

Hi sweetlilmegxo, welcome back!

If you had IC when you were on your placebo week you should be ok. Even if you don't start your next pack on time and ovulate it will be at least a few days before that happens and the sperm will be dead. Sperm can live only a few hours in unfertile conditions. If you have to go more than 7 24-hour days between active pills then be sure to use back-up for the time you are off actives and for at least 7 active pills in the new pack.

I don't know where you get your pills but most pharmacies are open weekends and holidays like Labor Day which is more a commercial event than a holiday where stores are closed, at least where I live. Are you sure you can't get your Rx refilled? Your circumstances may be different but one of the things I look for when choosing a pharmacy is will I have access to it when I need it. Let us know how you're doing, ok?

Edited to add: Good for you... I'm glad things worked out!

Good luck,

      Jill
