I started the PIll 2 weeks ago and was fine for about 12 days without any symptoms and then on day 12 I started spotting, kind of heavily, and am now on day 17 and am still spotting. Why is this happening and is it normal?

It is perfectly normal if you are a new pill user to spot during the first few months. Your body is getting used to a new level of hormones and can get confused about what's going on. I wouldn't worry about it at all unless you continue to have these problems once you've gotten into the 4th month of taking the pill.

Good luck and I hope you start regulating out!!

Fourth month? That seems like a long, painful wait. I too have spotting and I am not able to tolerate it much. It depresses me.

Well, I don't know your situation. But I do know that for most people BTB goes away by the third month. Sometimes it takes until the fourth month, but usually it's only 2-3 months of BTB. If you are still having problems in your fourth month, you are probably not on the right pill. I hope your BTB stops next month!!
