The patch and periods

I was wondering of the patch users here, what has your period been like since on the patch. I take my patch off today, and hopefully will start my period this week. Has it come quick after taking off the patch, has it come late? Has it been painful, or normal and light? What kind of PMS symptoms do you have; i.e. breast tenderness, cramps, hungry?

I've been having sporadic (pretty painful) cramps this weekend, and really awful breast tenderness, and I haven't taken the patch off yet, and was wondering if this was normal? This is my first month ending on the patch. Thank you for your input!

iv been on the patch well im starting my 4th month on wed. So far iv been getting my period the fourth day that counts the day i take my patch off. i dont really knotice mutch difference as in lighter or heaver seems to be prity mutch the same. the migrains that i was getting seep to be better for the time being only lasting a day instid of 10. so far iv had a few cramps but they havent goten bad enough to take anything for it. Yes by brest were tender for the first couple months but by the time i started the first patch of my third month it had prity mutch gone away. As for being hungry i craved things before i was on any type of birth control so i cant tell you if theirs a difference in that. hope some of that helped

I've been on the patch for about 4 months. My patch change day is sunday and my periods come on wednesday. I have breast tenderness before I start my period and some cramps. The cramps aren't bad, just basically the kind that let you know your period is on its way. One dose of Midol takes care of it. The breast tenderness is annoying, but not terrible. My periods are heavier and longer than they were when I was on the pill, but not has heavy or long as they are naturally (without hormonal BC).

At this point I am weighing the side effects and the convinience of the patch to determine if I want to stay on it or go back to BC pills. I am going to give it a couple more months and then decide. Right now, I am leaning toward the patch. I think the convinience is worth the side effects.

when i was on the patch my breast were always so sore and hard, when i used to take my patch off when i was suppose to get my period, i would get it that day or two days later. my periods were very heavy and painful for like the first 2 to 3 days but my doctor told me that it is probably cause i am a smoker, i guess if you smoke it makes your periods heavier. ( that's at least what my doctor said) but my breast were so rock hard all the time and it hurt so bad.
