Switching back to Yasmin from Seasonale

My chief complaints with Seasonale are more than with Yasmin. The CYSTS that you get from it, UGH. None of that with Yasmin. The WATER RETENTION double UGH with Seasonale. I have felt like I have a bowling ball in my stomach for weeks now, not to mention the weight gain of 7 pounds is driving me batty.
From reading these helpful posts on here, I figure if I really want 4 periods a year I'll just continually take Yasmin the same way as if I were taking Seasonale. So I have called the doctor today and asked for them to switch me. I'm only on my 3rd week of taking Seasonale but that's been enough for me.
This is how I'm thinking of making the transition is by taking 21 days of Seasonale and at the end if I were to normally take the placebo (which there are none now) to just stop taking the pill and let myself have a period. (who'd have thunk I would say THAT) Then when my period ends just start taking the Yasmin the way I always would. Does that seem reasonable to do it that way? I should have asked the dr. when I called today but they already think I'm a nutcase because I am literally in birth control hell. First I ask them to prescribe me a diaphragm, then Yasmin, then Seasonale and now back to Yasmin. I'd feel like a complete idiot to call yet again..lol..
Any input would be appreciated :)

I have been in bc hell for about 6 months. I started taking Seasonle in April of this year, I was on Trivora 28 for about 10 years prior. I just stopped taking the Seasonale last week. I couldn't handle all of the btb. The first round from April-June, I spotted for about 28 days out of the three months, then had a period. The second round July-now, I was okay for the first 2 months, after that, the btb again for about 25 days, too much!!! I stopped taking the pills about 2 weeks before I was to start the sugar pills. I had the worst cramps and back pain that I can ever remember having. On the Seasonale site they said that the btb should lessen each time, but I didn't see that. I don't think I'm going to take any bc for a while.
