Worried about increased libido,plz help!

I have been on Diane 35 for almost 2 years. It seems on about day 7 I get an increased libido and even breast increase. Does the BCP act in phases, like is it noraml at certain days(day 7 inpaticualr) to have an overwelming libodo increase?
I am especially worried this month because it has lasted four days, all I think about is sex when normally I dont care at all. This really scares me, is this normal to have an increase on certain days?
Thanks

I don't know. Diane-35 is a monophasic pill, one that has the same dosage of hormones in each active pill. If this has been going on for 2 years it sounds like it's normal for you. A woman's libido peaking while on oral contraceptives is something we don't hear about very often on this board.
Women who are cycling naturally have libidinal peaks usually when they are fertile and about to ovulate and sometimes a secondary peak when their periods are about to begin. If I were you I'd ask the doctor who is prescribing Diane for you about it. Let us know what s/he says, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
This is really bothering me,so I hope you dont mind if I ask further questions. I know it may sound weird but its actually very important for me to know if its normal for personal reasons. It takes two months to get in to see a doctor here so it would be so nice if I could get as much advice as possible from you guys so I can quit worrying.
I always thought that because my breast swelled, got moody, and increased libido on day 7, that it meant that the pills were kicking in? (I thought this because of the 7 day missed pill rule).
But this incident is just weird it has lasted for about 4 days(from 7-11). And I just dont understand how it could have such a strong effect for this long? Could it be stress or do you know and factors that could contribute? It seems there must be a reason behind it, I am only 24 too if that helps?
Have you heard of this before? Does it sound normal? It is almost in comparison to how my hormones peak when not on the pill?
Thanks so much
Josie
