Sex during period. info needed

My boyfriend and I always use condoms during sex. REcently, I read in a column that there is a very low risk of pregnancy if you have sex during your actual period. My first question, is this true? I know that there is always a risk of pregancy without protection, but it almost sounds like common sense that you cannot get preggo while on your period. I have seen in different medical columns that you can, and that you absolutely cannot. my second question, I have also heard that the risk of pregancny is almost just as low 2-4 days after your period ends. My man and i recently had unprotected sex during my period, then 2 days after it ended. (i was still spotting some, but it was generally over)Is it possible to ovulate RIGHT AFTER your period ends. i noticed a stretchy mucus whenever i urinated for the couple days after our last encounter. there was no mucus present any other time except at urination. i used to have an irregular cycle, but for the past 10 months have been on a 30 day cycle, almost like clockwork, give or take a day or two. So, to sum it all up, was I ovulating? Am i at a high risk of being pregnant? should i take a test? any input would be soooo helpful.
Thanks :)
Thanks :)

It IS possible to ovulate right after your period, but its extremely rare (given the above parameters) before day 10. So the five day rule takes into account that sperm can live 5 days. After the 5 day rule, any cm is considered fertile and sex should be protected or avoided until after ovulation.
It isn't unusual for most cm to come out while urinating. But you also have to be sure it wasn't semen. Stretchy mucus is considered very fertile.
I hope that helps and I hope you get the results you want! Read the book!! :)
>>i was wondering if you got any answers on wether you can get pregnant that week your off the pill, or when your period ends.<<
If you are on the pill and you have taken your pills correctly throughout the month, you are protected during your 7 hormone-free days, no matter when your period begins or ends during that time.
