Hi ladies,
Im back i have a quick question hope you can help me out! So i have been on OTC since june. The first two cylces were the generic brand trinessa and now i have been takine the actual brand OTC this month. Im currently on the green pills i took the 3rd one today. so i should start wed. That is when i always start. But here is the deal My boobs are so sore. Could this be from switching to the actual brand? or possible PMS since im about to start. I did have sex 3 times this month all with a condom plus he never cam is side me. so im doubt im pregnant? Right. I know that my pills have been working becuase my periods in the past months have been supper light.

One more question when your on the pill does your CM get thicker. I have noticed that mine is... could this be due to the pill. Doesnt make a bad enviorment for sperm to live in? Sorry not trying to sound dtupid just curious.
Thanks ladies look forward to hearing for you

You can experience side effects when switching between brand/generic or generic/brand so breast tenderness and when AF shows could be you adjusting to the new pills. Thickened CM (so his swimmers have a hard time making it to your uterus) is one of the three ways combined hormonal methods have to protect the user from pregnancy. The others are suppressing ovulation (the primary method) and changing the lining of the uterus to reduce the chances of implantation.
Take care,
