Can I ask why he doesn't want you to take pills? I think you're best bet is to discuss options with your doctor. You could tell him/her what you don't want to take and they could give you other options.

Good luck!

I use fertility awareness and love it! If you're interested, I highly recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility.

Hi squirt05, welcome!

To see what contraceptive choices are available look at the post 'Choosing a method that's right for you' in the FAQs and these Planned Parenthood links: Your contraceptive choices http://www.plannedparenthood.org/bc/cchoices.html and comparison of method effectiveness http://www.plannedparenthood.org/bc/bcfacts2.html Then have a good talk with your doctor and together you can decide which method would be best for you. Let us know what you decide, ok?

Good luck,
