Not sure if anyone can help, but am desperate for some answers. I have done research and can't find anything out.. Here is the situation: I have been on the mini pill since DS was 6 weeks old. He is now 13 months. I haven't missed a pill in over 2 months. Been taking it at the same time each day. I breastfed him and just weaned him completely last week. Last Sunday was his last feeding(9-26)I noticed the week before that I had dropped a feeding and bleed for 2 days then it was over. When I dropped this last feeding on 9-26, i started to bleed on and off on 9-29. On 10-1, I started to have these serve pains in my lower back and my stomach. It was like contractions and they would get very painful and then subside. Stop for a few minutes and then come back. THis went on all day on Friday(10-1)finally went away late that afternoon. Saturday came around and I had the same pains again didn't last as long(barley bleeding both days)I also noticed when I (TMI coming)put a tampon in on Saturday I got some pretty bad pains. Lasted about an hour. Felt great all day yesterday, Sunday(10-3)did have some contraction like pains in the morning during church, but not too painful that I couldn't move around and stop them. Last night, I started to have serve pains again in my lover back and stomach where I was almost in tears. It was a constant hurt. It lasted about 10 minutes. Then I was fine. Today(10-4)I have had painful cramps in my lower back and stomach. They come and go only last a few seconds. I have never had these types of pains before execpt when I have been in labor and I KNOW I AM NOT PREGNANT. At least I doubt I am. LAst time i had a period was 7-01. Could this pain be my body getting back into the swing of having a period, does the mini pill increase your cramps? Does anyone have any idea of what is going on? Anyone ever have these symptoms? By the way, I am not bleeding anymore. I am going to put a call into my doctor in a few minutes.

TIA

Yeah,I think a dr appointment is a very good idea...I was on micronor after my ds was born.I took it for 8 months or so-I wasn't able to breast feed but this was the only pill my ob would put me on due to high blood pressure problems.I didn't like it.I had very heavy, painful periods and bad cramping. Most other pills I was on before cut down on the heaviness of my periods and the cramps but this one did not....hope everything turns out OK for you....
