Other Methods Of Birth Control?

Hello.
I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on what are some other effective methods of Birth control for women to use if you don't want to use condoms. I'm on Yasmin and I've been on a birth control pill for 10 years, but now I'm on Topamax for my Fibromyalgia to help me sleep and that reduces the effectiveness on my pill. And my husband and I have been together for 8 1/2 years married for 3 1/2, and the condom thing is getting real old, but we want a back up method because we don't really plan on children do to my health problems, any advice would be great.
Thanks,
Akarott

If you are looking for a very effective, low maintenance and long term method of contraception an IUD might be just the thing for you. You might want to read the post about IUDs in the FAQs. Two types of IUDs are available in the U.S. The ParaGard http://www.paragard.com/ (Copper-T) that has no hormones and is good for 10 years, and Mirena http://www.mirena-us.com/ which continuously releases a tiny bit of progestin and which is good for 5 years. Let us know what you decide, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
