Hi michelle2123, welcome back,

What you tasted is probably a combination of your fluids and his. Pre-ejaculate usually has some sperm in it so if he was inside you while leaking pre-ejaculate you are at risk of pregnancy. If I were you I'd begin using an effective form of contraception. Withdrawal is not effective as a method of birth control. Let us know how you're doing, ok?

Good luck,

since ovulation occurs before your period occurs, i would say that you're still at risk for pregnancy. but i don't know that much about depo, so i could be wrong. better safe than sorry--take a preg test, and next time use a condom.

If it has been more than 13 weeks since your last Depo injection then you can no longer rely on Depo as an effective form of contraception. Some women do have delayed return to fertility when coming off Depo, but there is no way to know who they are ahead of time or when fertility will return.

Good luck,
