Okay, I'm sorry if I sound ignorant. But here are a couple of questions:

1. Is there any way that a HPT could be incorrect if you take it a month after you think you might have conceived?

2. I'm on the depo shot and was wondering if it was abnormal to not have the occasional spotting that the dr's say you might have. I'm just a little worried i might be pg. I've taken 3 pt's one at the md and 2 at home. so maybe I'm just paranoid.

modern HPTs are generally quite accurate. I had a chemical pg (or something wierd) happen about 6 months ago...got +hpts(did 3 tests...I was freaking!) At the doc they got a neg...BUT since I had had the positive ones and was scheduled for surgery soon after they did blood work. I had HCG levels that technically were + but so low that it really couldn't have represented a viable pregnancy...and the home tests showed a + even with the extremely low levels...

I have done lots of HPT's over the years (I'm 44 with 6 kids...lol)...I have never had an inaccurate test. 3 negs is pretty convincing, but if you really are having trouble feeling OK about it, do another high quality HPT (like 1st response) in 1 week.

I am thinking you are fine:)
