Depoprovera and trying to conceive

hey all... any input is appreciated! Im just coming off the depo shot from a few months ago, and I wanted to know if any of you had been on this before conceiving and how long it took to succeed. I havent even had my period since Ive gotten off the shot, but I dont think this is abnormal because I didnt have one the entire year I was on the shot. Do you ladies know how long it could take? any personal experiences? And just getting off of the shot, could chances be that im not even fertile quite yet? all feedback super appreciated!

For some women coming off Depo their fertility returns almost immediately, for others it can take quite a while. This is what the ‘Important Patient Information’ on the Depo site: http://www.depoprovera.com/index.asp# has the say about returning fertility.
“Return of Fertility
Because DEPO-PROVERA Contraceptive Injection is a long-acting birth control method, it takes some time after your last injection for its effect to wear off. Based on the results from a large study done in the United States, of those women who stop using DEPO-PROVERA Contraceptive Injection in order to become pregnant, about half of those who become pregnant do so in about 10 months after their last injection; about two-thirds of those who become pregnant do so in about 12 months, about 83% of those who become pregnant do so in about 15 months, and about 93% of those who become pregnant do so in about 18 months after their last injection. The length of time you use DEPO-PROVERA Contraceptive Injection has no effect on how long it takes you to become pregnant after you stop using it.” Let us know how you're doing, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
I was on Depo for three years and got pregnant within four months of going off it. I know everyone is different, so it may take a couple months or up to a year. Just don't stress out about it. I was on it twice before conceiving two of my children. I started having my periods the month after going off it. So, don't worry about it and have fun! (LOL!) ;)
