The Birth Control Patch

Hello,
I was using the patch for the past year. However, we moved out of state & I only had enough for one more month due to us not having insurance yet or a new doctor.
Here's my dilemma.... I stopped using the patch on August 29th & got my normal MP from Sept 1st - 4th. My husband & I decided we would us the pull out method. Now I think I may be PG. My MP was due again on Sept 29th (24 day cycle normally) and I am now 2 weeks &
2 days late, I took a EPT last week which was Negative. But could I still be PG or is this all due to stopping the Patch?? I do have alot of symptoms of Pregnancy. Please help!
Donna

I agree with the other poster, you're probably taking a while to begin cycling naturally again. It’s not unusual to miss a period when coming off the pill/patch/ring. The bleed you had September 1-4 was your last pill-period or withdrawal bleed. Your natural hormones should kick in any time now. Withdrawal is not very effective. If I were you I would start using an effective method of contraception. If you don’t get your period in another 3 weeks you should definitely talk to a doctor. If you still don’t have a doctor by then you might want to try the Planned Parenthood clinic nearest you. The PP Health Center locator is: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/Zip.htm Let us know how you're doing, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
