Patch Placement

hey, i just have a quick concern :)
i've been on the patch for over a year and have always put it on my butt, switching cheeks. i recently realized it said it should be placed on a "hairless area" well , there's hair all over our bodies, and i have real thin, unrecognizeable hair where i put it, but does that do anything to its effectiveness? should i shave the area then put it on? i worry though it would be too sensitive or have some kind of reaction if i did that. just wondering if anyone has any 2cents they could add...
thanks,
<3cari

most likely...the hair that is in any of the prefered areas is just peach fuzz, and that should not make it a problem. I believe what the company means is don't put it where you have HAIR like don't put it real low on your abdomen where it is all in your pubic hair cuz then it is sticking to the hair and not your skin. As long as it's just peach fuzz and you don't have any hormonal issues that cause you to look like bigfoot or that yucky plumber with gobs of backhair and crackhair...sticking it there is fine.
