Hi Everybody,

I will be travelling soon, and I will be in a different time zone for 4 days. It is a 3-hour time difference.

How does this affect my pill schedule? Does anyone have any info for me?

If normally take it at 9AM PCT, would I take it then at 12PM EST, and visa versa??

Thanks!!!

Hi lovesec, welcome back!

Yes, if you are traveling west to east three time zones then 9:00AM Pacific would be 12:00 Noon Eastern time. On October 31st, when we change back from daylight to standard time, if you are on a combined (estrogen/progestin) pill the one hour change is well within the +/-2hour window and won't matter. If you are on a progestin-only pill then move your time in 20 minute increments over 3 days to adjust back to standard time. I hope you have a nice trip. Thanks for posting.

Take care,
