Lost my pills!

Yikes guys! When I went to the doctor last, she gave me three months of birth control and at the end of those three months I was supposed to come back to get my blood pressure checked and get more pills. BUT I LOST MY 3RD PACK!! I have to start them tomorrow and I went today to look for them and they're not there! I've been moving around alot, but I thought I knew exactly where my pills were. Of course, just my luck, they're not there. So, now I don't know what to do because Planned Parenthood isn't open on Sunday for me to get a replacement pack. Should I call them on Monday and tell them what happened, and just take my pills like I missed one? Will that mess everything up since it's the first one of the pack? Help!

Hi fadedxglow, welcome!

The first and last pills in your pack are very important as they define the hormone free period which can not be more than 7 24-hour days without loosing your protection. If you don't take your pill on Sunday then you will have gone 8 days w/o hormones and will have to use back-up on the 8th day and for at least 7 consecutive days of correct pill use while your hormonal protection is reestablished. Let us know how you're doing, ok?

Good luck,

Just thought I'd let you know, I found them on Monday. They were at my stepdad's house, the person I asked to look for them didn't look very well at all because they were EXACTLY where I told him to look. hmph.

Anyway, thanks for your help!
