It all depends on you! Some women start cycling normally their first cycle off the pill, some women won't start cycling for a couple of months, and women who have recently used Depo Provera may need a year to 18 months before they start cycling. Any other method should have an immediate return of fertility. Some women will have difficulty getting pregnant no matter what they do, but there are ways to work with lots of different conditions, sometimes it's even just timing. ;)

What's usually recommended is that you wait until after your normal ovulatory periods return before you start trying. What that does is give you time to make sure you're in the right situation to try (prenatal vitamins, quitting bad habits, etc.) and if you're already having normal periods it makes it easier to set a due date.

Good luck!
