Yasmin or NuvaRing?

Here's my situation. I've been on ortho tri-cyclen lo for six months. I like that it has really lessened my cramps and gives me a relatively light period. I don't like the acne, the breast tenderness, and the mood swings (which seem to be getting worse--and seem to be worse during the second and third week of active pills).
I'm looking to try something else. I don't have much trouble remembering to take my pill on time, but even so, the ease of a method that only requires monthly maintenance is appealing. I think I should definitely try something that is monophasic and that has a different progestin than OTC-lo. I'm planning on calling my doc tomorrow (she's been out of the office) to talk to her about making a change, and I want to be prepared.
I've heard good things about Yasmin and NuvaRing. I was wondering if NuvaRing tends to help with cramps? (Mine were bad off the pill.) What about acne? (My skin was clear off the pill but is going crazy on OTC-lo.) Mood swings?
What about Yasmin on those same issues? Anyone try both?

I have tried Yasmin....didn't like it. (breast tenderness)
I am currently using the Nuva Ring... and I love it!
But everybody's different.

Good luck!!! :)
"Then there was the horror of the 15-day run of breakthrough bleeding in my second month, even though I followed my doctor's advice to try both doubling the dosage and just stopping the pill for a week to have a period."
How many active pills had you taken before taking a hormone free week? The 21/7 regimen was tested and approved to protect you for 7 hormone free days after taking 21 active pills consecutively and correctly. Thanks for posting.
Take care,
