Ok, I've been on BC (OrthoTriCyclene (3 years), then the generic brand, TriNessa which I am currently on) for about 4 years, but at the beginning of this month, I posponed taking the new pills because I wanted my period to be pushed back a week, because my boyfriend would be coming back on the 23rd of October, which would be right in the middle of my period, and what would be a bad thing considering what we had planned... ANYWAY, we were together for about 10 days, getting busy about 3 times a day... Can I get pregnant the week before my period? It's supposed to start Tuesday or Wednesday (Today), and i'm feeling a little panicky. Please respond! Thanks.

If you'd been taking active pills on time for seven days prior to your boyfriend's arrival, in theory you should be protected. For future reference, if you want to move periods around, you can maintain consistent protection if you don't skip any active pills and don't take more than seven days off of the active pills--this would be skipping the inactive pills in the current pack and moving right into the active pills of the next pack.
I hope that answers your question!

You lost the protection of your pills when you went more than 7 24-hour days without hormones so you had to start over. When you started your pills again, you should have been protected after taking 7 active pills consecutively and correctly; on time, not vomited or had severe diarrhea within 2 hours after taking your pill and not taking meds. or supplements that might decrease the pills effectiveness. If you had been back on your pills for more than a week before you saw BF, then you should be ok. Let us know when Aunt Flo shows, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
