"Feeling of Well Being" on Yasmin?

I just started taking Yasmin on Monday. I've heard that some women have a "feeling of well being" while taking it. Has anyone experienced this? If so, when did you start feeling it? I'm just wondering if it's true and when I might be expecting to feel like that. I don't feel any different so far, but it sure would be nice to feel like that. Thanks for your help :)

I was thinking of taking Yasmin, too. Please keep us informed about the side effects.

thanks

Hello! Well, I was on Yasmin for about 7 months. I don't want to upset anyone that just started this or is about to. But I didn't really like Yasmin. I experianced weight gain (even though it is known to help you loose weight) and I felt moody and anxious alot of the time. I switched to Aviane (generic for Alesse), it was lower in hormones. The weight was still there but I didn't feel as moody as I was on Yasmin. Everyone is different though, so I'm sure there are some women on here that loved it! It's just a matter of trial and error. Hope this helps!

Before I started Yasmin I was on Seasonale for 6 months. The first month and a half of that I was a raging b****! (And I knew it which makes it worse!) After that, my moods got back to normal and everything was ok, other than weight gain and bloating. My insurance changed through work and didn't cover that anymore so I switched to Yasmin. It took the bloating away and the first month or so was great but after that I got extremely depressed and sad. That lasted for 2 months and I had to stop taking it. I'm now starting Kariva (generic for Mircette), which is supposed to be a lower dose of estrogen. Don't be worried tho, everyone is different. I have 2 friends that are on Yasmin and LOVE it!!! They have the exact opposite problem of what I did. They're happy go lucky all the time now. Good luck!!!

yes I get moody to everyone in the house including the kids and I don't like it. I have been on it for too long and want something else.
