OK- what's the deal w/ Yasmin?

I am going to my ob/gyn in a week or two and will be discussing bc options. It has been years since I've been on the pill, and although I've been on many different pills, this Yasmin is new to me. Is it just another pill or is there some profound difference? Any info or http links would be appreciated.
Thanks!

The Yasmin site is: http://www.yasmin-us.com/ Yasmin has a unique progestin that has diuretic properties that help reduce water retention. Since Yasmin is relatively new it is the only pill with that progestin. Yasmin is like other oral contraceptives, some women love it and others hate it. How the hormones in Yasmin get along with your unique body chemistry will determine how well it will work for you. There are a lot of members who use or have used Yasmin who will be along to share their experiences. Let us know what you decide, ok?
Good luck,
Jill

Anyway, thanks for the info.
I am also going on my second week of Yasmin, but I actually feel better than I have in a long time. I was so worried about trying it since there are so many negative posts, but to my pleasant surprise, I have had no side effects yet. Prior to Yasmin, I was on the patch for over a year and a half. I liked the simplicity, but never truly felt like myself while taking it. I also had some mild, but unexplainable hair loss.
So I wanted to post this for those of you curious about taking Yasmin, but worried about the side effects. Everyone reacts differently, and there are a ton of people out there (like me) who feel great on it, even right off the bat!
For those that don't hang in there, because most of my friends tell me that they love it (even if they felt bad the first 1-2 months).
