Stopping the pill early

Here's my scenario:
I have been on Trinessa for 3 months and I have experienced naseua, headaches, gained weight, feeling exhausted everyday, mood swings, cramping, etc...
Well, because this was having bad effects with my job, my relationships (I've been sooo crabby) I decided to just go off the pills even though I have 7 more active ones to take this month. I rather deal with the irregular period (if it happens) then be on the pill. I did this once before a few years ago and everything came along fine. I just really don't like being on the pill. I know for most of you it's great, but I have tried a couple and the same effects occur. I wish I could find that perfect one.My BF and I have discussed this and we're just going to use condoms for now.
Now to the question: I took the pill everyday at the same time since I've been on it, never missed a day. This past saturday was my *last one* I took (around noon). Later that night me and my BF had unprotected sex (he came in me). Could I get pregnant from this? I honestly did even think about it until today, but now I am concerned that wasn't such a smart move.
Thanks for all your wisdom & comments. These forums are so helpful for people like me ;)

And, while you`re using condoms, if you want to increase the effectiveness and your chances of not getting pregnant, you should look into adding a spermicide to help out! They`re pretty cheap, come in many varities, and help boost your chances of avoiding a pg.
Oh! If pills give you unpleasant side effects, have you ever thought about looking into NuvaRung? http://www.nuvaring.com It has the lowest dose of hormones on the market, and therefore less hormonally related side effects. It`s a vaginal ring, about 2 inches in diameter, worn for three weeks straight and then removed during the fourth week so that you can have your period. It`s around 99% effective (the numbers vary slightly depending on what source you look at, but it`s considered to be generally as effective as the pill without the daily hassle).
Let us know what you decide and I hope this helps you out!

Good luck,
