Has anyone out there taken micronor while breastfeeding? My doctor prescribed it and says it will have no effect on my milk, but what about the baby? thanks for any info.

Micronor is very commonly prescribed to breastfeeding women. While a little bit of progestin can be secreted into the breastmilk, it's not known to cause any harm to your little one. It certainly didn't harm my niece! But if it would harm the baby, you wouldn't be able to take it--the labeling for combination pills indicates that they can't be taken by breastfeeding women, but a progestin-only pill should be just fine.

You can also talk to your pharmacist about this! Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to know that someone else has taken it and it caused no harm. Thanks a bunch for easing my mind!
