Period and the Pill

I've been on the pill for almost a month now, Tuesday was the first day of taking my nonactive pills. My gynocologist said that Thursday would be the day I start my period. I was wondering is it at all possible to have an irregular period if you're on the pill? Or start later than the day you're suppose to? I know it's still early today, but I haven't started mine and I feel like I have no signs of starting it...so I was just curious how it worked while being on the pill. Or since it is my first month of being on the pill..maybe it won't be exactly on the date it's suppose to be?? I don't know. Any help would be great! Thanks!

As long as you took the pill at the same time every day and didn't miss any, and used condoms for the first week, I wouldn't worry too much. If it really bothers you call your Gyn.
Typically Aunt Flo arrives somewhere between the second through fifth placebo day but can be earlier or later. It all depends on how your body reacts to the hormones of a particular pill. It can take a few cycles for you to see a pattern so be prepared for some adjustments for a while. Let us know when AF arrives, ok?
Good luck,
