tubal ligation

Hi all: I am wondering if anyone out there can help me...I recently back in June of this year 2004 had my tubes tied ( i believe clamps were used) and my husband and i are probably being over cautious but i am wondering whether anyone out there has become pregnant from pre-ejaculate fluid ( or pre-cum if you will)...and how many women out there have just plainly become pregnant with a tubal?....I am so paranoid of becoming pregnant and i know they say it is less than 1% which seems like a very slim chance yet i am still worried...Can anyone help me?

Female sterilization gives you an efficacy rate of around 99.5% - that`s only a .5% chance of pregnancy! Hon, you`re pretty darned safe against an unintended bun in the oven.
Especially if you are using withdrawl, your chances are even lower of becoming pregnant. There`s not really any data of women becoming pregnant also using withdrawal during tubal ligation, but it`s extremely unlikely.
There are women, a few on this board, that have become pregnant while on tubal ligation, but it`s pretty rare - pregnancy should be one of the last things you`re worried about! Enjoy having sex without the hassle of worrying about birth control. :) Unless you miss a period, I would say that you have nothing to stress over.
