Well, it looks like I am going to need an emergency contraceptive. We did use the withdraw method, but i want to be doubly sure. Can i just take 3 of my Yasmin pills at once, or do I need to get the "morning after" pill? I am not taking birth control, I took myself off, and have extra pills lying around. HELP!!!

As you indicated that you know, withdrawal is NOT an effective form of birth control. It's better than nothing, yes, but not by much. Please do not take 3 of your Yasmin pills at once!! I am not sure whether Yasmin can be used as EC, but I am thinking it can't, and you might do yourself more harm than good. Even if a pill (like Alesse) can be used as EC, there is a way to do it - a certain number of pills at one time, followed by a certain number 12 hours later. Call your doctor or go to a Planned Parenthood as soon as you can to get some real EC - you don't say when you had intercourse, but the sooner you take EC, the better, and it has to be taken within 72 hours to be effective. If I were you, I'd go back on the Pill, and also buy some condoms to have around just in case.
Good luck!!

I agree with Caitlin! You need to talk with your doctor or Planned Parenthood as soon as possible. EC is time sensitive and is most effective within 72 hours of the encounter of concern.
Yasmin can not be used for emergency contraception. For pills that can be used for EC see: http://ec.princeton.edu/worldwide/default.asp
It would be a really good idea to begin using an effective method of contraception. There are a lot of them available. Take a look at the post ‘Deciding which method is right for you’ in the FAQs and Planned Parenthood’s Contraceptive Choices http://www.plannedparenthood.org/bc/cchoices.html and Comparison of Effectiveness http://www.plannedparenthood.org/bc/bcfacts2.html
Let us know how you’re doing, ok?
