Teri, i'm so sorry youre having such a trying time! i can't imagine your stress right now. I'm sure Olivia will be fine! Many people go through heart surgery every year and are perfectly fine! Its actually good news that Olivias heart problem is fixable through surgery. There are lots of congential problems that can't be fixed. Maybe if you look at the surgery as a good thing- since they can fix Olivia's problem - it will make
OMG Teri...this is all tooooo funny!!
Wow, I am so slow, sorry. I still have to reply to your other post as well. The lengthy ones are the ones I am slowest getting to, :).
I am sorry you are having a rough go of things in general. It seems like just as we all envisioned be perfect parents we all should get perfect behaving kids. Yeah, well the reality check set in right?
Sophie use to HATE being put down too. There was a good month there where I was going absolutely bonkers, because she would only sleep if I held her all night. Well during that time she had a cold and I would wake up with snot all over me and she would drool on me in the middle of the night, oh it was miserable. To this day I blame her father. He has been crazy busy pretty much since her arrival, so when she was a newborn he would hold her constantly, even while they slept. Low and behold though, guess what I miss the most right now? My cuddly baby. I kid you not, this kid doesn't like to cuddle at all. SHe will whine for me to hold her, but then it is just so she can pull my hair and smack me in the face. SHE NEVER SITS STILL! In fact, I always know when something is not quite right, because she is quiet and not wiggling around. Ok, I am not helping here, LOL! Just rest assurred it will get better, then all of a sudden you will want your cuddler back, well in moderation!
She is so adorable though Teri and
You just reminded of the movie Jeeper's Creeper's. I don't know if you ever saw it, but they played Jeeper's Creeper's where'd you get those Peeper's, in the movie a whole bunch of times. Truthfully, it was one of the worst movies my dso and I ever saw and for some reason, which I don't recall, we drove 45 minutes to see it.
Well i must say i am glad i don't have the only kid with that quirk, haha we must just smell good and that is comforting to them.
haha at least you gave me a good laugh, sorry if that was not your intent.
