Hiya,

Wondered if some of you share same symptoms w/ depo, which unfortunately can imply Polycystic Ovary Syndrome:

-facial hair

-skin tabs, esp underarms

-melasma or brown patches on skin

-acne

I'm hoping these are side effects of depo, because I would like to ttc in less than a year and I wonder if I should be tested for insulin resistance and androgens (concerning PCOS).

Will also ask fertility board!

If you want to try to conceive in a year, you might want to switch to a different birth control method as soon as your current shot is over with. It can take a significant amount of time to conceive after stopping Depo Provera.
