To me, the two main ways that sex can delay your period are:
1) Pregnancy 2) Stress
Sex itself will not actually alter your menstrual cycle. If you`re worried about pregnancy and it`s been less than 72 hours since unprotected sex, you may want to look into Emergency Contraception. You can get it from a doctor, a local health clinic, or a Planned Parenthood clinic (check http://www.plannedparenthood.org for one near you.)
As always, if you`re not on an effective form of birth control (in which your period may come anywhere from day 2-5 on your non-hormone week), I`d really recommend some. Any one of the places above can help you out with that, too. If you ARE on birth control and asking about this, then pregnancy isn`t likely but stress can still delay your period and sometimes the day your period starts can fluctate while on hormonal contraceptives.
Well whether this results in pregnancy or not, you've got proof your cycles don't always stay the same from month to month. Stress can only delay ovulation, not your period after you've already ovulated. So this month you've ovulated later than usual. And if it happened late enough, there's a chance you could have gotten pregnant. I hope it turns out like you want. In the future, if you chart your fertility signs you'll know when you've ovulated and when to expect your period for certain.
