Hey all, I just started taking Seasonale two months ago. The first month on it was fine --no breakthrough bleeding which is what i heard happens and I didn't gain any weight(but im a gym junkie so i didn't think i was going to). I'm starting the third month of pills and for the past three/four days i've had cramps... constant cramps. not as painful as real menstrual cramps but ive been popping ibprofen everyday now to get through work. I'm seeing a little bit of bleeding but nothing a light tampon can't help. i am wondering if the cramps are a part of the breakthrough bleeding or if i should go call my gyno?

thank you much!

Hi aeboyle, welcome!

Irregular bleeding is very common during the first 2 or 3 extended cycles on Seasonale and can sometimes be accompanied by cramps. You can search the archives for what other members have posted about Seasonale while you are waiting for replies. I hope you are feeling better soon. Thanks for posting.

Good luck,
